Mara Nikolaidou is a Professor with the Department of Informatics and Telematics, Harokopio University of Athens, Kallithea, Greece, where she also currently serves as the Rector. Over the last years, she actively participated in numerous projects on system engineering, service-oriented architectures, digital libraries, and E-government. She is currently participating in research projects focusing on systems-of-systems (SoS) engineering, Internet of Things, and smart cities. She has published over 100 papers in international journals and conferences. Her current research interests include SoS engineering, system modeling and simulation, service-oriented architectures, and BPM.
Jerry Zeyu Gao is a professor at the Department of Computer Engineering at San Jose State University. Now, he is the director of SJSU research center on Smart Technology, Computing, and Complex Systems. He had over 20 years of academic research and teaching experience and over 10 years of industry working and management experience on software engineering and IT development applications. He has published three technical books and over hundreds (250) publications in IEEE/ACM journals, magazines, International conferences and workshops. His current research areas include smart cities, intelligent system test automation, cloud computing, TaaS, software engineering, test automation, and mobile cloud services. In 2010, Jerry Gao has been recognized by University of Texas at Arlington as a distinguished Alumna for College of Engineering at its 50th anniversary. In 2011, he was award as a KSI Fellow in SEKE2011. In 2013, Dr. Gao has received the College of Engineering Faculty Award for Excellence in scholarship, Dr. Gao served as an editorial board member and an associate editor for several international journals in software engineering and electronic commerce, such as IEEE Software and International Journal on Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering. Recently, Dr. Gao has been included and listed in Marquis Who’s Who 2020.
In last 10 years, Dr. Gao has played as one of leaders in organizing many international conferences and workshops as a conference co-chair, program co-chair, and workshop co-chair. These include: IEEE AITest2019, Smart World Congress 2017, Smart City Innovation 2017, SEKE06-2016, IEEE MobileCloud2013-2014, IEEE BigDataService 2014-2019, IEEE SOSE2011-2013, ICYCS’05, TQACBS2005-2006, WMCS2004-2010, IEEE EMOBS07-08, TEST’07, and EECC2006. In the last couple of years, he is the General co-Chair of CISOSE. Besides, Dr. Gao has provided his technical consultant and training services for numerous international IT and telecommunication companies, including Fujitsu Network, Intuit, eBay, HP, IBM, Haiwei, Cisco, and UT-StartCom.
Iraklis Varlamis is an Associate Professor in Data Management at Harokopio University of Athens and a member of the directors’ board of the Greek Free and Open Source Software (GFOSS) society. He holds a PhD in Informatics from Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece and an MSc in Information Systems Engineering from UMIST, UK. He has been involved as a scientific and technical coordinator and as a principal investigator in a number of EU-funded projects concerning knowledge management, data mining and machine learning. He has also co-ordinated several EU and National R&D projects concerning data management and personalized delivery of information. He has authored more than 200 articles concerning text and graph mining and intelligent applications in social networks and the web and received more than 4000 citations.
In the last 5 years, Iraklis Varlamis is actively engaged with the conferences of CISOSE, especially BigDataServices, as PC co-Chair or General co-Chair. He is a member of professional and scientific international and national societies including, IEEE, ACM, EETN etc.
Trained as a physicist, Ms. Wu has more than 30 years experience in marketing, sales, business development, venture investment, research/technology development in semiconductor and solar sector.
Birsen Sirkeci is an associate professor in the department of Electrical Engineering at San Jose State University (SJSU), San Jose, CA. She received her Ph.D. from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY in 2006. Prior to joining SJSU, she was a postdoctoral researcher at UC Berkeley, CA. Her main research lies in the areas of wireless communications, sensor networks, statistical signal processing, and machine learning. She received best paper awards in Milcom 2005, WCECS 2010 and ICETEC 2013. She was elected as outstanding organizing committee member of IEEE ICME in 2013. She received the Applied Materials teaching award at SJSU in 2014. She also co-advised SJSU Spartans team which ranked among the finalist in Darpa Spectrum Challenge in 2013.
Nguyen Thanh Binh is Associate Professor at Department of Computer Science at The University of Danang – Vietnam-Korea University of Information Technology and Communication (VKU). He served as Dean of Information Technology Faculty of the University of Danang – University of Science and
Technology (DUT) from 2010 to 2020 and Chair of Software Engineering Department at DUT from 2006 to 2010. He moved to VKU since 2020 and he is currently Chairman of University Council of VKU. He received PhD degree in Information Technology at Grenoble Institute of Technology, France in 2004. He has been qualified as Associate Professor since 2013. His research interests include software engineering, software quality and software testing. He has published over 70 papers in journals, conferences and workshops.
Yunyun Yang received her B.Sc. degree in 2010 in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Xinzhou Teachers University, Xinzhou, China, and her M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Yanshan University, Qinhuangdao, China in 2013. She received Ph.D. degrees from the College of Information Engineering, Taiyuan University of Technology, in 2017. She is currently a teacher in the College of Electrical and Power Engineering, Taiyuan University of Technology. Her research interest includes complex networks, big data, and machine learning.
Ms.Yu Lina has graduated from Peking University. She is the founder & CEO of Pacific View Media, editor-in-chief of Silicon Valley Times, director & host of SV VISIONARIES. She has more than 15 years of work experience in the media and public relations industry. She has served as the host and columnist of famous news organization in China, and has hosted and directed several very popular TV shows and Radio shows. Her books has been recommended by several ambassadors, official leaders and industry leaders in China, and been promoted by dozens of mainstream media in China. She has published millions of words in news interview, publications, and columns for more than 10 years. At the same time, she is the first professional Chinese copyright book publisher in Silicon Valley and San Francisco in USA. Lina Yu and her team served at IEEE Industry Summit 2019 and IEEE Smartworld 2017 and did a great job.
Dr. Mohammed Younas is a Reader in Computer Science in the School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics, in Oxford Brookes University. He is the Subject Coordinator for the MSc Data Analytics and MSc Data Analytics for Government and his areas of teaching include: Web technologies, Data Science, E-Business Systems, Cloud computing. Dr. Younas is a network co-lead for the Migration and Refugees Research Network at Oxford Brookes University.
